为了让你对种类极为繁杂的丛林法规大致有一个概念，笔者将运用于狼群的一些法规译成韵文（巴鲁总是用朗朗上口的语调背诵它们）。当然法规还有成千上万，但是以下这些足以作为那些简单规矩的样本。

Just to give you an idea of the immense variety of the Jungle Law, I have translated into verse (Baloo always recited them in a sort of singsong) a few of the laws that apply to the wolves. There are, of course, hundreds and hundreds more, but these will do for specimens of the simpler rulings.
